Scholarships
The First Tee of New Hampshire has many scholarship opportunities for participants enrolled in the Life Skills Experience. As participants reach higher levels of certification, they are eligible to apply for college scholarship and other opportunities. We hope that many participants from The First Tee of  New Hampshire will benefit from these programs. Please read more about the Scholars Program in the content to the right.

We are pleased to announce the designation of our first scholarship:

The David T. & Karen Della Penta Charitable Foundation
First Tee of New Hampshire Scholarship

 We are pleased to announce the first recipient of the David T. & Karen Della Penta Charitable Foundation Scholarship 2009, Tracey Marshall.

This scholarship is designated for a female First Tee of New Hampshire participant or NH female junior golfer who exhibits the 9 Core Values of The First Tee, Courtesy, Respect, Judgment, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, Confidence, Honesty, Integrity, and Perseverance and is pursuing a career in golf.  This scholarship will be awarded at $2,500 to $5,000 per year depending on academic and community service excellence.

 The vision of The First Tee of New Hampshire is to improve the lives of all of New Hampshire’s children through an innovative approach to youth development. It is The First Tee’s hope that through its programs New Hampshire’s youth grow to continuously stretch their expectations of themselves, aspirations for themselves, and performance in their service to others.  We thank David and Karen Della Penta for their generosity in helping us reach this vision.

In furtherance of its mission to impact the lives of young people, The First Tee developed a Scholars Program offering participants the opportunity to receive recognition for exceptional achievement in the following areas:

  • Chapter & Community Involvement
PACE Resource Center

The First Tee PACE (Providing Assistance for Careers and Education) Resource Center was created to equip eligible participants (ages 13-18) and their parents with information and resources to learn more about applying for college, college scholarships, and career exploration.
